The
Association is for all who own, sail, charter or have an interest in the
Bavaria range of yachts.
The Association was formed in 1999 with the initial aim of organising
social and cruising events so that members, their families and friends
could meet with other owners of Bavaria yachts.
The Association is evolving and aims to:

Provide
a means of sharing views and experiences with other members through a
regular Newsletter and this web site.

Arrange
sailing rallies and cruising-in-company events to give members an
opportunity to meet other Bavaria owners.
(an ideal chance to swap
ideas, views, tips, etc.).

Organise
special skills days with an instructor for detailed group tuition.

Arrange
evenings with a speaker covering various specialist aspects of our
sport/hobby.

Endeavour
to obtain discounts for members from suppliers of all things sailing
(chandlery, insurance, etc.)
The
Bavaria Owners’ Association is run by members for members. The
Committee is elected at the AGM and is totally independent. There is an
obvious introductory link with Opal Marine (UK agents for Bavaria Yachts)
but there it ends. If any member has an idea that will benefit the
Association and its members they are encouraged to pass it on. The aim is
for a dynamic and lively organisation.
