We have bought a 2009 35 cruiser and discovered a discrepancy between build certificate and what Bavaria website states is the max draft for these boats. It supposedly has the standard keel and should have a draft of nominally 1.9 m. However the build certificate states 2.19m. Is it likely that the build certificate is wrong? If not, is there any reason why a longer keel would have been fitted to a cruising hull? ❓

If it is a UK vessel I suggest you give Clipper Marine a ring on 02380 605060 and quote him the HIN number, I am sure he will be able to tell you the original spec as ordered from the factory. They are very busy in the run up to the Southampton Boat Show so unless it was a boat supplied by them you may have to wait a while for the answer.
