I have recently purchased a 2001 Bav 34 Cruiser and would like to fit an anchor windless before the start on next season. Has anyone done this on a similarly aged boat? Trying to decide how to approach this. I need to come up with a solution that will allow me to fit the windless inside the anchor locker as I don’t want this on deck. Again, has anyone any suggestions how do this? And what would be the best type of windless – a horizontal or vertical?

Thanks Steve, it was a helpful link. Still trying to decide if the cost is worth it.

I would look at fitting foot swithes in the deck.
I have a 34 in Port Solent and the pins in the handheld controller are very thin making the socket a bit tricky to plug in , especially in poor light or at night
