      We have a Bavaria 36. During reapplication of antifoul this season corrosion was noted to the aluminium rudder stock, which projects below the hull. A continuity test between hull mounted anode and rudder confirmed no circuit. Internal inspection revealed there to be no cable connection between the rudder stock and the anode.

      Can anyone offer any advice whether a cable connection should be provided between the rudder stock and the hull mounted anode, which is connected to the engine/sail drive.
