Bought my Bavaria last year with blue Blakes Tiger Extra antifoul already on. Seems to have worked ok so I intend to use same. Blakes do 3 colours of blue (life’s never simple is it?).
The blue on my hull seems to be the same shade as most other Bavarias.

Is it – True blue OR Souvenir blue OR dark blue??

Also – anyone spotted any good offers?

I apply 2 coats every 2 years and have a lift and wash in between. Works for me in the Solent area.

I may not need another coat this year.

I’m thinking of trying that boatlift thing in Cowes for a scrub off, you any better(cheaper) ideas. Don’t really want tie it up somewhere and do it between tides.

I use the Sealift at cowes regularly. It is a very good service although it is creeping up in price now. Only takes about an hour

Bit late for a reply – sorry. Yachtmail at Lymington were by far the cheapest anywhere (at least south coast) for antifoul and included free postage. Thanks for the advice.
