      Any thoughts on the correct length whisker pole for a B38.  Based on the LP of the headsail would be around 6m but this seems quite long.  Does anyone use a pole on a B38 or similar?

        If your interested I have a spare 6m whisker pole in my workshop it is missing a fitting on one end. I had two one is on my boat, a BAV 42, I found 6m too long to handle easily and cut it down by about a metre, works fine. I stow mine clipped to the mast fitting and lashed to the pulpit, works well and makes downwind sailing a dream.
