Hi John,
My advice is don’t touch it with the proverbial barge pole, or you could be using that for propulsion. Experiences in the haulage industry are not good. For a start filter changes need to be increased three fold, and even then problems can occur. The bio diesel industry is at an amateur level in the UK, and there seems little control on the finished commodity, which is often produced in a farm shed. I have been offered fuel from a local Essex company, which has it’s tankers serviced at a main dealer and has an all inclusive repair and maintenence contract. THe tankers broke down with fuel/filter problems and had to be recovered so many times that the dealers would not re-new the contract at the end of it’s first period. THey now exclude repairs on any vehicles using bio fuels.
