The lid stay on the chart table of my 2005 B39 has failed. Where can I get either a straight replacement or a suitable alternative. I see Screwfix do a 244mm gas strut type anyone tried that?

Every now and again you will slam down the back of a wave and the gas strut pushes your chart table lid upwards in a hurry. Imagine sitting there, head over the table checking a chart when………. don’t ask how I know! 😀
