I have a new iPad which does not have GPS. I wish to download maps but I need to buy a stand alone Bluetooth GPS receiver but have no information as to what is suitable for use on a boat. Has anyone any suggestions ?

Have only belatedly seen this. We bought a Garmin GLO2 and GLONASS receiver with Bluetooth from Cactus. It works very well.
