Do you varnish or not? I tried Cetol marine varnish last spring available in various shades. Sanded the cockpit teak and applied 3 coats as suggested. Went sailing for 5 months and despite lots of rain and continuous walking on the varnish, its perfect. I am going to apply another coat to keep it nice. It seems to wear well.
