The engine in my 2005 Bav 42 has started to make a noise like a London bus when at idle. The yard (in Croatia) says it is the “damper” which connects the engine to the saildrive gearbox. They understand that it is a known problem but is expensive to fix.

Has anyone experienced this problem?
