Retired Royal Navy Officer and soon to be retired small business owner. Lancastrian, currently living in London. Truly Scrumptious is my first yacht and is co-owned by myself and a very longstanding friend (Graeme), a former colleague and ex-RN Navigator. Buying a yacht was always on the retirement bucket list, but COVID and other things made us take a long hard look at life and we've jumped in a few years ahead of our plan. We will be basing her in Chatham and our plan for this year is to (almost) circumnavigate the UK - missing off the top and enjoying the Caledonia Canal instead.
