        Hi Richard rudder

        Many thanks for your response. Very illuminating.

        The rudder on our boat is not showing signs of restricted movement. The corrosion appears limited as the attached.

        It is proposed to provide anodic protection via the hull  mounted anode. A non copper antifoul is being used in the area around the head of the rudder.
