Unfortunately I can take no credit for the installation of the helm control for the windlass.
Yes it was my “whim” so I did have it installed, although I did not wire it.
As for short handed use it is an absolute gem. (just have to be careful when deploying or retrieving the last 3 meters that the anchor does not catch on the bow…. bit tricky with the new almost vertical design!
In terms of the techy bits, I guess that the swith is wired in parallel to the hand remote (which of course still works when plugged in at the anchor locker). If I’m wrong I’m sure that some will help with guidance?
