Hi Guys, the bracket that allows the alternator to be moved to adjust the drive belt has snapped, have ordered a new one, but one of the bolts that secure the bracket to the engine block sheared off when i tried to undo it. Unfortunatey these bolts go through the circulation pump before they thread into the engine block. So thought would remove the circulation pump to give me access to remove the bolt that sheared off, but have removed every bolt from the circulation pump and it will not shift. Has anybody experience of removing the circulation pump on a Volvo 2030 type D,because cannot see what could be preventing its removal apart from maybe the offending stud, but even so ould have thought that slight movement would have happened.
