My Bavaria 47 Ocean has a prop shaft fitted with an anode and a Bruntons folding prop with anodes. These seem to be coping well and needing to be replaced every 2 or 3 years. There is no corrosion on the shaft or prop.
There is a hull anode needs replacing every 2 or 3 years and a cable connection from one side of the anode in the engine room to the P bracket fixing. I have found a second cable to this anode connection which is not attached to anything but with a terminal ring it looks as though it should be. There is nothing connected to the other side of the anode.
Can anyone advise me if the engine or hydraulic gearbox should be connected to the anode or perhaps the water boiler.
