Hi Guys, has anybody got any advice on removing the circulation pump on my Volvo 2030, have removed all the bolts, but 2no studs are still in there owing to the heads shearing off, but cannot break it free from the engine block, and obviously do not want to hit it and break it, but seems as though something is still securing it to the engine block, so if you can help it would be appreciated.

        Hi Ed

I can’t help you directly but maybe this can

For others who read this, it is worth noting that there are other Volvo Manuals on the Benetau Owners site here

Good luck with your pump, Ed.

          Hi Roger,

the second link is very good, gives excellent drawings of the engine etc, including the circulation pump, but what it does not show is that there is a bolt securing the pump from the back, ie the opposite side to all the other bolts, and you need to remove the alternator to gain access to it, even then you can only turn it a quarter of a turn at a time. Volvo at Haslar put me wise to this bolt.
