Are there any tips for cleaning the non slip areas on the deck. I am thinking of using a pressure washer but I am wary as I know they can cause damage to certain areas (teak decks for instance). I cleaned it last year with a small stiff brush but it took a long time and it has already started going black again.

        Hi John

You should be OK using a high pressure washer on the GRP non-slip areas. It actually works very well and is a lot easier than manual methods. However, as you correctly state, do not use it on teak, or any other wood or soft surface. Also, reduce the pressure a bit (if your washer/lance allows this) and keep a reasonable distance from the surface.

I personally would not use a pressure washer on any of the GRP anymore as I know from experience that if it’s too powerful it will put pinholes in the outer gelcoat.
Sarbrite do a cleaning agent for non slip decks which is pretty effective with a light scrub.
