      I have managed to keep my 2001 Bavaria 34 looking like new, except for the grey rubber protector which surrounds the transom. It has deteriorated with lots of different shades of grey now marking its upper and vertical faces, whilst the outer face remains not as bad.
      Has anyone found a way of keeping this rubber clean?

          What you want is uPVC Solvent Cleaner from Toolstation.

          Brings it up a treat.

          It also works well to take dirty marks out of gelcoat.
