Can I suggest a reminder to everyone to check their lifejackets regularly. I have two automatic (Hammar self inflating) 150N lifejackets which haven’t been checked for some time so last week I inflated them and was horrified to find that they were both leaking (from roughly the same place on the lower seam of the bladder). They’ve both been returned to the manufacturer for repair. It’s easy to become complacent over things like this, one assumes that all is well until finding out, possibly the hard way, that it is not. Be warned!!
