We are in the process of appointing a contractor to carry out the installation. We have decided on wood chocks mounted on the hatch garage which will first be removed and re-inforced.
We have not decided on whether to mount the liferaft fore and aft or athwartships, although the latter seems the logical choice.
Does any one have any advice on this?

ps we have a brand new adjustable stainless steel liferaft cradle for sale, suitable for pushpit mounting.

Can’t answer re your dilema about which way to fit your liferaft other than to suggeat a coin , however could be interested in you pushpit liferaft holder ,would it fit on a 37?
