I’m seriously thinking about changing the original (1999) in-mast main on our B34. Maxiroach seems to have a good reputation, and according to the company they have made six for B34s over the years (and probably a lot more for other Bavarias). I’m interested to know of other people’s opinions of the Maxiroach, and other alternative mainsail mfrs. Any tips on getting a good shape with the original Elvstom sail would be welcome also. The sail looks like it’s had little use, but the shape when on the wind just doesn’t look right to me. Having said that, we’ve not had in-mast before, so maybe it’s lack of familiarity with what to expect.

      Thanks,
      Roger

Hi, I have a Maxiroach main on B40. It improved the speed and sails closer to wind. No problem with furling, just adhere to the instructions. Good company to deal with.
