Well a busy weekend. Collected Impavidus Friday great test sail and shake down. Did not get away from the Hamble until 16:00 hrs then had to wait 2 hours in Port Solent fairway for enough water to get in the lock. She is now on her mooring at Port Solent. Horseshoe boy on, outboard bracket on, throwing line fitted, Dan-buoy on, CD player/radio fitted (Cracking Bluetooth link to chart plotter and Iphone), 7 inch Sony 60 watt, 3 way speakers fitted in the saloon. SSR numbers applied, Transom and bow insignia applied. 12 Boxes of “kit” unloaded. Fuel tanks & water tanks filled and calibrated, smoke alarm, CO2 alarm, gas alarm, fire blanket and additional fire extinguishers fitted. Cindy has Boarding ladder and fender step fitted. Cindy has matched the cushions, blanky’s, cutlery and mats. She is very quick, Farr design is slippery and very stable, no wallowing or slamming. We had 9.8knts at ⅔ throttle. With 8.7knts on a beat in 14knts wind>
Just the helm position VHF/ship to shore to fit The Microwave, TV Ariel amplifier and Wi-Fi Ariel. We are exhausted!
Glass of red and the sofa calling!
