I have heard from someone that it is possible to replace the Euro sockets fitted std to Bav’s with a UK type configuration.

Apparently it is just a matter of replacing the insert in the socket holder. Does anyone have more details on this and if so, where I can get said inserts.

Before anyone asks, yes, I do use the Euro to UK adapters but I am fed up with them.

I’ve not seen anything like that but I think that the continental sockets are smaller then the UK sockets and so such inserts may not be available at all. You could try just replacing the continental fitting with a complete replacement UK fitting.
I fould that having a couple of 13amp sockets in the saloon was a good idea – you just need to make sure they properly protected with a suitable size breaker.
