      Hi, on my Bavaria Holiday 35, 1998 vintage the rudder shaft is thicker than the standard type fitted to other Bavaria yachts, and there is now movement of around 2mm.
      So does anyone know where I could obtain a flexible material that I could wrap around the rudder shaft to eliminate the lose fit of my rudder

        Hi, in my last life when I worked we used a PTFE sheet to wrap around tubing to make it slide nicely, not sure where to get this now though, it was military grade stuff.
