Hi guys,
I am new to all of this so please excuse my lack of knowledge. I have recently purchased an 03 Bavaria 44 which I had surveyed at the time. One issue found when the boat was hauled out was some corrosion on the aluminium ring that protrudes through the hull where the rudder shaft comes out. I am unsure if is a large problem to rectify as I have not been able to find any drawings on this issue. I am having the boat hauled in August to clean it’s bottom and was thinking of trying to fix it then.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
