We are very lucky to have purchased a Bavaria with a virtually unmarked interior. However, as with many production yachts, the original coating is minimal and therefore there are some areas which break down after only a few years (as in our case). The sides of the companionway are showing signs of wear and therefore I intend to varnish these areas as soon as possible. Can anyone recommend a particular varnish which is compatible with/looks like the original? (I have in mind International satin)
