My water storage tank is from 1998,black plastic. I am discovering very small black particles in the water from the taps. Anybody else experienced this? Is the tank material breaking down?
Probably unlikely…when and where was the last time that you filled up?

Hi I assume this is a flexible tank. I had one made to measure years ago by SEAFLEX in Cowes. It lasted about 25 years before staring to leak. I then opened it to find the inner layers had disintergrated and was beyond saving. SEAFLEX did try though even after all those years. 10/10 to SEAFLEX. If its old its probably had its day.
