Hi all,

I have been reading in an older post about wobbly stanchions, my B34 has very wobbly ones all except one which is a solid aluminium block and solid as a rock, has anyone else fitted solid aluminium blocks and where can they be found?

Can’t help with your specific question, and there were different types of stanchion base it seems. Our 1999 Bav.34 had many loose bases, but could be tightened in most cases by a screw on deck, and if the main bolt was slack, then by removing the under-deck wooden panels in the saloon / cabin lockers. Don’t know if this helps, but all ours are tight now.
