I bought my 2000 B31 a couple of years ago. I like the boat very much and will be considering upgrading when my mortgage is paid off in the next couple of years.

I’ve been looking in the mags and on various web sites, so that when I’m in a position to change the boat I know what I want.

There are various types of Bavarias advertised, and I’d like to know what the main attributes of each type are. For example…

Match (performance version?)
Cruiser (self explanatory?)
Ocean (higher build standard?)
Holiday (sun screen provided as standard?)
etc.

My wife likes the look of the B38 Ocean CC (something to do with the salubrious aft cabin). However, we’ve only seen one of these for sale. Are they rare? What are their good/bad points?

I’ve heard that the build quality on later bavarias is not as good as on earlier boats. I’d appreciate any feedback on this question as well.
